I have sewed since I was twelve years old. I started making clothing for myself and then for my children especially Halloween costumes. I was always volunteering to help with fabric projects at my children's school. One year we were making a quilt for a teacher and I had to purchase materials from a quilt store. When I walked into the shop there was a landscape quilt on the table. I had never seen an art quilt before. I was hooked. I then started to quilt much more seriously. It is now not only a passion of mine, but an occupation. I also have a degree in photography. I now combine my photography with my quilting. My quilts are inspired by my photographs.

I have also created quilts for customers. Some of my commissions include a queen sized quilt designed from images of my client's garden. I also make memory quilts using clothing from a loved one. I love working with a client to create something that is special for them. Please contact me to inquire about commissioning your own quilt with me.
